What made you decide to come to ASU?
“I was either going to stay on the west coast or come here. I think it was more of a family kind of tie-in here…just how the team acts like a family getting together. I had choices, but this outweighed the rest of them. I trusted [Coach Murphy] when I was getting recruited.”

Tell me about your family and upbringing.
I was born and raised in Riverside, California. My parents split up when I was six. I lived with my dad, but my mom was right around the corner, so it was easy for us. I started softball when I was eight years old – it has been my life. My dad was really big on it since nobody in my family had gone to college. He wanted me to go to college and use sports as my way
of getting there.

Emphasis: Political theory, comparative politics, Eastern European
history, American constitutional history.
Goals: I plan to complete my education by receiving a master’s degree
in political science and a law degree. After law school, I hope to clerk for a federal court for a year or two and then practice law.
